The Way of Instructing Righteousness
1 Timothy 1:1-17

  1. From Sha'ul, a sent-one of Yeshua HaMashiach by the commandment of Elohim our Savior, and YHVH Yeshua HaMashiach our hope.
  2. To Timothy, my own son in trusting, favorable-enablement [grace/charis], mercy [eleos], peace [eirene], from Elohim our Father and Yeshua HaMashiach our YHVH.
  3. I encouraged you to continue at Ephesus, while I went into Macedonia, that you would instruct some there not to teach,
  4. Neither to listen to legends and endless genealogies, which bring on more questions rather than administrating trust in Elohim.
  5. For the goal of the mitzvah [commandment] is love out of a pure heart, and a good conscience, and maintaining trust.
  6. From which some, having missed the mark, turned aside to have useless conversation,
  7. Wanting to be Torah teachers, but understanding neither what they say, nor what they strongly affirm.
  8. Now we know that the Torah is good, if a man uses it according to Torah,
  9. Knowing this, that the Torah is not made for the righteous, but for the workers against the Torah and the disobedient, for the unmerciful and for those sinning, for the unholy and the profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
  10. For porno-lovers, for sodomites, for slavers, for falsifiers, for perjurers, and whatever other thing that is opposed to healthful teaching,
  11. According to the glorious good message of Elohim the Blessed, which was entrusted to me.
  12. And I thank Him who enabled me, Yeshua HaMashiach our YHVH, that He esteemed me trustworthy, appointing me to the ministry;
  13. Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor and insolent, however I obtained mercy, because I acted ignorantly without trusting.
  14. So, the favorable-enablement [grace] of our YHVH was abundantly generous, with trust and love which comes from Messiah Yeshua.
  15. This is a trustworthy statement, and deserves to be accepted by all, that Messiah Yeshua came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.
  16. However, for this very reason I obtained mercy, that at the very start Yeshua HaMashiach might demonstrate all longsuffering in me, as a pattern to those who would come to trust Him for eternal life.
  17. Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise Elohim, honor and glory forever and ever. Omeyn.
