1. You shall not worship the Web,
nor anything on or about the Internet shall you worship;
but you shall worship the LORD only. (Prayer and personal
godly fellowship shall be more important than Web
browsing and IRC Chat.) 2. You shall not speak as though you are yourself the LORD. You shall not make any thing of your own creation on the Web and say it is from Him. (Separate your own words from that of Scripture.) 3. You shall not use the LORD's Name in vain on the Web, by using it carelessly and tossing it around as you would any other name. 4. You shall obey the Sabbath, keeping it holy, by giving others a rest from your criticism of their Web ministry. 5. You shall honor your father and mother, by showing everyone on the Web that they raised a person with a little politeness, kindness, and common sense. 6. You shall not murder, especially by hanging around and saying destructive things on IRC/Chats, causing everybody else to leave there, and thus it dies. 7. You shall not commit adultery by using anonymity to flirt in Chats, look for pornography, or in anyway else be unfaithful secretly in your heart against God or your spouse. 8. You shall not steal Web content, unless you first ask the webmaster if you can use it, then he may let you if you give proper credit for it. 9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor on the Web, by quickly jumping to conclusions about his/her faith or devotion, based on information from the Web alone. 10. You shall not covet (desire) any Web ministry's site content, or a webmasters authority, or the Web visitors of a site, or anything which belongs to your Web neighbor. *He who has broken one has broken all. Let us all repent together and cease our old ways. Amen. Copyright 1997 - 2007 David M. Hargis. All rights reserved. |
